Gay Isis – You Me and the Dock
Gay Isis- Guest Writer,Photographer
Five years ago I moved to the city of Loveland CO, nestled against the foothills of the Rocky Mountains with my husband of 34 years, after living in Greeley, CO for over 30 years. Colorado is home! We’ve raised 2 sons that have given us 2 beautiful daughter-in-laws, a precious granddaughter and there is another one on the way!
I am a Respiratory Therapist by profession but transitioned into home medical sales and marketing for Apria Healthcare and Major Medical Supply for 18 years. I left the corporate world to help my husband’s business of 12 years; DC Express Inc., a medical courier delivery business. As we approached retirement age our youngest son decided to take over the business, which has allowed us to retire and do what we love the most, which is to travel!
We make it our intention and are lucky enough and to be healthy and active in our retirement years. We love to camp, hike, snowshoe, bike, play with our granddaughter and travel. We’ve camped all of our years together and recently bought a small travel trailer to continue our adventures. Our oldest son and wife live in China where they have a business recruiting people from around the world to teach English as a second language in many countries around the world. With them living on the other side of the planet and having the desire to see them; it has given us the privilege to visit places we would have never dreamed of seeing.
The future looks bright for more adventures and travel!
