A fabulous sunset looking out over Estero Bay. The storm clouds on the left are coming from the east coast of Florida and heading towards Estero Island and Ft Myers Beach. Photograph contributor: Anthony Scopel

The photos you are about to view were taken by people who captured the moment with their picture taking device. You, Me and The Dock is   happy to feature these amazing sunsets. We have been collecting these photos, along with some that we have taken ourselves for the past few months. We invite anybody from anywhere in the world to send us their sunset or sunrise pictures. These particular photos represent Southwest Florida and the beautiful Rocky Mountain state of Colorado.

These gorgeous clouds heighten the affect and point the sun’s rays upwards. Colorado has some of the most bluest skies I have ever seen. Photograph contributor: Mitzi McGarr Kinsey

Colorado has some of the most fantastic sunsets I have ever seen. Here is one that shows how cloud cover can enhance a sunset.

This sunset was taken from a beach on Black Island looking at the southend of Estero Island in SW Florida. The water and sky seems to be as one with the Florescent colors. Photograph contributor: Maureen Scopel

When the sun sets over a body of water, the reflections of the sky’s many shades of red are absorb by the ocean’s mirror like surface.

This sunset was taken from the same beach as the previous picture above, but on this particular evening the skies seem to set the waters of the back bay a blaze. This sunset has to be one of the most fabulous over-the-water pictures I have ever seen. Photograph contributor: Anthony Scopel

Looking at this sunset can only produce a few words and one of them is Awesome! This surreal setting was created by Mother Nature showing off her extreme beauty.

Another great picturesque sunset looking towards Colorado’s front range mountains.

Not only is this a beautiful evening sky, but the contrasting palm trees add to a  peaceful ending to a beautiful day. Estero Bay offers a fabulous view of the south end of the island.

The last sunset photo comes from Ft Myers Beach. The calm waters of the Gulf of Mexico always provides a beautiful scene of the days ending light.

I hope you enjoyed the photos. I want to give a quick shout out to Mitzi McGarr Kinsey for sending in the fabulous Colorado sunsets.  There is something to be said for the Mile High Skies! I also want to thank Rich Piet for his fabulous photo contribution as well.
